Kassidy Conlon is a local cellist and educator who earned her Bachelor of Music Education and Masters of Education with an Emphasis in Music from Montana State University - Bozeman. She teaches private cello lessons and serves as an adjunct low strings professor for Montana State University - Billings. Additionally, she is the Executive Director of the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras, a nonprofit organization that supports the seven symphonies across Montana.
Kassidy is the development chair of the Red Lodge Music Festival and the Arts Without Boundaries Boards of Directors, and serves as the secretary/treasurer for the Montana String Teachers Association. She also performs with the Billings, Bozeman, and Great Falls Symphonies, and plays cello for wedding ceremonies, yoga classes, and other special events. She recently started a new project - the Aurora String Quartet - an all-women string quartet playing a mix of classical and pop music in the Billings area. When not teaching, playing, and sharing music, Kassidy is most likely reading, caring for her many plants, or adventuring in the Beartooth Mountains with her husband, Casey and border collie, Mac.
